Today was a good day. And as I promised I will be posting pictures from today so I can see my progress in a couple of months.

Today I ate 1550 calories and I burned off 750 calories. I've been so hungry lately it's not even funnny. But I've been strong. I had a salad with the dressing on the side when I went out to dinner.

I have to weigh in Monday so tomorrow I have to keep it up.

Today was the first good day in a LONGGGG time. It wasn't the BEST it could've been, but hey? Progress is progress.

I ate 1550 calories and I burned 700 at the gym.

Tomorrow I plan on posting a picture of my current body if my roommate is ever out of the room :)

Everyday I become a little closer to becoming the person I want to be.

Today was the first day of my new determination to become the person I want to be!

I'm not sure how many calories I ate today because I was still in my old habits but I burned 700 calories at the gym. I focused only on cardio so tomorrow I will make sure to do arms and abs as well. 

I'm excited to stay on track this time...I only have 14 days until my boyfriend sees me for the first time in over a month so I have to look good :)

my NEW beginning

So as my first post I'll just explain myself and my situation...

My name is Nicky and I am currently 5'7" and 185 pounds. When I started my weight loss journey(January 2012) I weighed 235 pounds. I was able to lose 60 pounds in 6 months, but the past few months I haven't been motivated. That's why I am starting this blog. I plan on posting a motivating picture, the calories that I intake, and the calories I burn at the gym everyday. I will also weigh in every Monday morning and post progress pictures once every 2 weeks. I'm using this blog as a way to remind myself why I am still determined to get fit and get into the best shape of my life. After all , you only live once...you might as well look your best.   :)
