December 5

Well, I still suck at losing weight. I went home from Thanksgiving weighing around 232 and game back to school around 240. I suck. The past two days have been really good though. Baby steps. I've been using My Fitness Pal again and hopefully I stick with it. It really helps me monitor what I eat.

Yesterday I had a really good workout. I did:
Elliptical 15 minutes, 200 cal (Resistance 8-12, 2 min intervals)
Stationary Bike 15 min, 150 cal (Resistance 10)
Chest (75 for 1) and Tris (60 or 70 lbs I think)
Leg Press (260 lbs quick reps)

I'm feeling it today, but it feels amazing.

Time for bed! Let's hope I stay on track this weekend.

-Take stairs at least once a day
-Walk to and from campus once a day
-Log all calories for the day
-Aim for 1300 calories a day
-Go to the gym in the morning 4 times a week
-End month weighing 225 pounds or lower
-Post on this blog more
-GET MORE SLEEP

Well it's been a month since I last took progress pictures. I started weighing 237 pounds and in these pictures I weigh 233 pounds. 4 pounds. I only lost 4 pounds in a month. It's been a slow start, but at least I'm moving in the right direction. Time to pick up the pace though! I'm looking to get under 230 this week. Hopefully I post on here more then once a month. Maybe it'll help me stay motivated....

Shocker, I suck. I haven't posted on here since May. I weighed 226 then. I currently weigh 235, and thats after losing 4 pounds this past week. No one ever said losing weight would be easy! That's why I'm so mad that I let myself gain the weight back. I currently weigh the same as my starting weight January 2012. I gained back all 60 pounds. Well, time to lose it again (plus more). I've been doing really well this past week...I'll post pictures when I get home.

April 22nd!


Overall I did really good today and I feel great! Plus I get to see Colin in 2 days!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️😄. 

The first picture is my overnight oats(first time trying and I LOVED them)! It's oats, Greek yogurt, almond milk, strawberries and blueberries. Yummmm. The second picture is me after abs and stretching. I liked the way I looked... Sue me haha. 

I'm officially weighing in tomorrow so I'll be sad tomorrow.

Last nights workout!!

So I meant to post this last night but I was so tired hahah. I'm so proud of myself for going last night because my friends bailed on me, it was late, and the gym was getting ready to close. Those are a bunch of excuses I would've used to not go before. But I went. I did 20 min on the elliptical (resistance 8 and 12, 2 minute intervals). Then I did a little back and bis. And I was dripping with sweat after. It felt amazing.

At least...

IAt least I ended today with an AMAZING run. It was sooo nice outside. I did 3 miles and only had to walk for 1 lap around the track. It was wayyyy better then I thought I'd do. Maybe I won't die at the color run...


It says 541 calories in 38 minutes. It's blurry because I was dying. 😉

April 8, 2014

Today was rough for my family. I had to go to a funeral for my uncle Barry. So for breakfast I made a 2 whole egg, 2 egg white omlet with a little bit of bacon bits and some pizza cheese. It was delish. 

For lunch however, I had chips and French onion dip and a bacon cheese burger and fries from Red Robin. I'm not proud. 

For dinner I had some more eggs and fries from the dining hall. 

I'm about to go running with Morgan and this girl down the hall so wish me luck!

Tomorrow will be better.

A quick workout..

...is better then no workout. 

I ate pretty good today (could've been better but it's improvement). I was planning on going to the gym but I was so tired so I took a nap. But when I woke up I had a little over 20 min so I did a Bob Harper workout really quick. Like I said, a quick workout is better then no workout. Goodnight!!

Home on break

Sooo it's been extremely difficult to stay healthy while I've been home with my boyfriend that I hadn't seen in 52 days. Time to get back to it. And I'm doing it with him. Nothing motivates me more then the possible future with the love of my life.

Workout Buddy!!

So I always have a hard time staying motivated. And so does my friend Morgan. I want to lose 80 lbs and she wants to lose 70. We're trying to make working out fun this time and also hold each other accountable. And that's what we're going to do. The first picture is our jars that have pebbles representing each pound we want to lose. When we've lost it, we move it to the other jar. The second picture is hung up in our kitchen and it's the rules we put in place for ourselves-that way we can't forget! WE CAN DO THIS AND SO CAN YOU!!!

Hi! Long time no post, but look what I made last night!!! My 8 month goal and how much weight I want to lose each month in order to be my goal weight by Halloween.
